Leaving your nursery and moving to the new, much bigger world of primary-school education can feel worrying and stressful. Our aim is to make all our new students feel welcome and safe so that your child can hit the ground running at the start of Reception and make a great start to what will hopefully be some of the best years of your child’s life. We offer an excellent Reception Transition Programme which allows children and parents to participate in a number of events in June-July before the child starts school in September to help support them through their journey into primary school. We also offer home visits which will take place within the first week of term in September where each family will be visited by your child’s class teacher.
The upcoming transition events are outlined below:
- Stay and play/ Meet the teacher’s event – Wednesday 30th June or Thursday, 1st July (9.30-11am)
- Settle-In Session - Wednesday 14th or Thursday 15th July (9.30 - 11 am)
You will be contacted throughout the year for further information about these transition events. If you have any questions regarding these events, please contact our Admissions Team via: email@example.com.
